Drying:
- It is very important to dry the jacket completely after washing. Use a tumble dryer on low heat and add at least two tumble dryer balls or tennis balls. This prevents the filling from clumping together and helps maintain the jacket’s fill structure and insulation.
Finishing:
- Once the jacket is completely dry, remove it from the tumble dryer and shake it thoroughly to loosen the filling.
- Gently press on the quilting with your hands to allow air to penetrate the filling and restore the jacket’s original shape and insulating ability.
